IBM TopView 1.10
TopView was meant to compete with Windows 1.01 and Visi On (ToastyTech has a great page on Visi On)
Booting it up on PC-DOS 3.20, after running SETUP.BAT so I could select my mouse type. (If you're using 86Box, select Microsoft Serial Mouse or Mouse Systems Serial Mouse.)
Not picking the tutorial was a mistake.
The weird desktop. Although not shown here, the right click opens a desktop menu as well.
An included rudimentary file manager that's quite difficult to use.
I tried to run BASIC so I could multitask while playing DONKEY.BAS.
I was trying desperately to close the popups and ended up quitting.
